Growing Potential: Solutions for the Sustainable Use and Restoration of Degraded or Contaminated Land
How can degraded or contaminated land be transformed into a productive and sustainable resource for communities and the economy?
The University of Burgos and DIH-LEAF invite regional stakeholders from the Burgos region to a Co-Creation Workshop to explore innovative approaches for land restoration and sustainable use. This workshop provides a platform to exchange expertise, discuss challenges, and collaboratively shape strategies that support informed decision-making and long-term land recovery.
The workshop will address the following topics:
- Sustainable land restoration practices
- Application of digital tools for land monitoring and planning
- Utilisation of non-food crops
- Community engagement and stakeholder cooperation
